Starting to play acoustic guitar?

I used to work at guitar center and I'm not familiar with Ashland Guitars. But my recommendation would be to up your budget to $200 if you can. Any guitar in that price range isn't going to be very good but stay with the ones that are the "least bad." The Epiphone EJ-200 is the one I would recommend in your price range.
